Kilomass is focused on expanding its existing operations and diversifying through its ventures into new jurisdictions and its interest in various mineral commodities. This comprises. As part of its strategy, Kilomass has recently applied for over four exploration licenses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and successfully acquired four exploration permits in Somaliland, specifically targeting base metals and lithium.
The Tathlith project covers an area of about 11.59 km² and is situated approximately 654km southeast of Jeddah. Initially granted for exploration of Au, Ag, and Cu metals, the project has progressed from target generation and prospecting to an advanced exploration phase. It stands within one of KSA's most promising regions. Promising assay outcomes have been obtained from rock chip samples, with reported values reaching up to 6.0g/t Au. Encouraging trench results have also been noted, such as findings of approximately 18m @ 1.2g/t Au assay. Mineralization across the project area is believed to be predominantly hosted by quartz veins and shear zones.
A preliminary evaluation of several lithium and base metals (copper, lead, and zinc) properties across Somaliland was undertaken. This has resulted in the selection and application of 4 exploration licenses within the country. The initial focus will be on the lithium projects, with a keen resolve to systematically explore, mine, and concentrate the lithium oxides. The location of these lithium projects is in close proximity to the capital city of Hargeisa.
Through the mining of iron ore, kaolin, and limestone and the quarrying of various building materials, Kilomass has attained a solid reputation for delivering all kinds of raw materials to Its clients in a safe and sustainable manner. In 2023 Kilomass mined and delivered a total of 3 million tons.
